This is a live track from Zion80’s show in December at Brooklyn Bowl. We invited ePRHYME to sit in with us on Shlomo Carlebach’s ‘Yehi Shalom.’ Thanks to Yossi Pollak for recording it!
The track isn’t perfect, and it includes some banter before the next tune we played. But the energy and vibe is exactly what we go for every time we play, so we posted it on SoundCloud as soon as we could.
Whether you’re a hip-hop expert or not, you’ll hear very clearly that ePRHYME is the REAL DEAL and brings it 100% every time he’s on the mic.
So here it is, and know that this is just the beginning…
Zion80 has been hard at work in the studio. We’re recording an album for John Zorn’s Masada Book III and a whole lot more. Stay tuned for updates, but in the meantime you can look at these photos…
It’s been an amazing 2016 for Zion80. From the Acht Bruecken Festival in Cologne, Germany to the Washington DC Jewish Music Festival to the ERJCC in Houston, TX to Brooklyn Bowl. We want to thank all of our fans who came out to shows and let us know how much you love our music!!!
There are BIG, GIANT things in store for 2017. Stay tuned, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
